Penn State Fayette's Cultural Center in the lower level of the library is a multi-purpose space in which special collections and special exhibits are on display. The public is invited to visit and attend special events held there throughout the year.
The Fayette Bank Art Collection encompasses Native American artifacts that date back as early as the first century B.C. and includes items from the Mayan, Zuni, Oaxaca, Mixtec, and many other tribes.
The Charles H. Wall Panama/Latin American Collection includes items from the Kuna, Embera and Wounaan people of Pananma such as Kuna Molas, Cocobolo Woodcarvings, Embera and Wounaan Basketry and Panamanian Masks.
The Cultural Center serves as a resource for faulty, staff, students, and the community. A computer, resource booklets, diversity pamphlets, and a map of the world are available for use. In addition, the official flags of many countries around the world are on display.
