Over 175 ninth-grade female students from area high schools convened at Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus for a day-long event focused on exploring career opportunities in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (S.T.E.A.M). Students participated in hands-on sessions, interactive opportunities, and an array of activities to learn about the educational and career possibilities available in these exciting fields.

Sponsored by Fayette’s Commission for Women, the activities included presentations by Fayette faculty in nursing, physical therapy, engineering, arts, math, and science, and activities by Gina Russell of PennDOT’s District 11-0.
