Decathalon Day gives youngsters a chance to compete

More than 30 fourth- and fifth-grade students participated recently in the second “Olympic Decathalon Day” at Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus. The students gathered to compete in 10 events, including broad jump, long jump, 8-inch step-ups, vertical jump, crab walk, suicide sprint, baseball/softball toss, lay-ups, figure-eight dribbling and 1/6-mile run.
