Toy drive for homeless children a mountain of success!

12/19/2008 —
The annual student-organized toy drive at Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus is making Christmas merrier for more than 40 children at the Gallatin Living Center in Uniontown this holiday season. Each year Penn State Fayette hosts an Angel Tree for children at the Gallatin Living Center, which provides housing for the homeless and their children.

Campus faculty, staff, and students typically contribute, but this year the Lion Ambassadors and Men’s Basketball Team expanded the toy drive by hosting “Hoops for Hope” events, where anyone who brought a toy to a “Hoops for Hope” basketball game gained free admission.
