Middle school students explore engineering at Penn State Fayette
Some 135 middle school students from seven area schools explored engineering in December during the 13th annual “E Day” at Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus. The annual event is designed to stimulate interest in a variety of activities related to engineering. This year’s theme was “Connecting to Engineering” and students participated in a dozen activities that examined connections, such as electrical, mechanical and physical connections. Penn State Fayette students in Engineering Design 100 were responsible for developing the activities.
