Robert Whyel Jr. wins Penn State Fayette student kinesiology scholarship
Whyel says he is appreciative of the award and grateful to Kinesiology Scholarship Committee Chairman and Penn State Fayette Kinesiology Instructor Jes Hutson, as well as his classmates. “It goes to prove that if you work hard you’ll be rewarded in the end,” he says.
To be eligible for the award, candidates must have a minimum 3.0 GPA, have excellent attendance, work hard in the class, and write an essay on the topic “Why Physical Activity is Important,” which is scored by a panel of judges.
Whyel is a Penn State Fayette sophomore student from West Leisenring, Pa.
