Admissions Office offers extended hours in August
Admissions counselor Apryl Kadish explains the office is extending its hours to meet the needs of individuals who may be looking to pursue a Penn State degree but can’t get to the campus during the day. “Many of our students are adults who are interested in earning a college degree to advance their careers, or who want to change careers. If these individuals work during the day, it presents a challenge for them to visit our campus and get more information about the degree programs they can obtain here.”
But even recent high school graduates may have full-time summer jobs that prevent them from getting to the campus during regular office hours, Kadish says. “The extended hours provide extra convenience to them, too. We want to be sure that anyone interested in learning more about enrolling at Penn State has the opportunity to do so.”
Penn State Fayette offers six baccalaureate degrees, 10 associate degrees and the first two years of more than 160 Penn State majors. For more information, call the Penn State Fayette Admissions Office at 724-430-4130.
