“CEO Conversations” continues with Stephen Sheetz March 6

The spring 2008 CEO Conversations series at Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus continues March 6 with guest speaker Stephen Sheetz, chairman of Sheetz Inc.

Stephen “Steve” Sheetz is a native of Altoona, Pennsylvania, also home to the family-owned and operated Sheetz Inc. convenience store chain. Sheetz currently operates 337 stores in six states—Pennsylvania, Maryland, Ohio, West Virginia, Virginia and North Carolina—and employs more than 11,000 people. With 2006 revenue exceeding $3.5 billion, Sheetz Inc. ranks No.79 on the 2006 Forbes list of Top Private U.S. Companies. Currently Steve Sheetz is leading the company’s Creation and Reinvention initiative to “create the Sheetz that will put Sheetz as we know it today out of business.”

CEO Conversations is designed to bring the business community onto campus to give students the opportunity to hear from and talk with key individuals in the local, regional and national business world about business, entrepreneurship, and leadership. The free series is open to the public.
