Scott Nemeth joins Admissions team at Penn State Fayette

Scott Nemeth has joined the Admissions team at Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus as an admissions counselor. In his new role, Nemeth will be responsible for performing a variety of admissions activities, including visiting high schools to present Penn State to prospective students and working with high school guidance counselors, interviewing prospective students, providing information and responding to requests regarding admission procedures, conducting group sessions, and coordinating special programs.

Nemeth brings to the position an administrative background and admissions experience. Previously, he was coordinator of high school admissions at West Virginia Junior College and West Virginia Career Institute. In addition, he has served as a graduate assistant, a literacy tutor, and an administrative assistant. Nemeth earned a bachelor’s degree in history from West Virginia University and a master’s degree in adult education and communications technology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
