First annual CETES Block Party Picnic slated for September 27
The event is designed to be a fun way to introduce CETES’ new small business incubator to campus students. The Campus Diversity Council, Admissions, Career Services, and Academic Affairs departments are participating with the Business department and business faculty.
All students of every major are invited to attend this informal event to learn more about the new CETES small business incubator and get to know the business and campus faculty. CETES’ Web-based business incubator enables students from all economic backgrounds to investigate and assess their plans and dreams of becoming future business owners, promoting economic development through student development.
Interested self-starting students can benefit from CETES as they pursue the rewards and satisfaction of creating their own small businesses. CETES will act as advisors, providing information and encouragement for every student desiring to explore the options of entrepreneurship. The CETES team believes that, with a solid work ethic, an entrepreneur can earn his or her future.
In the event of inclement weather, the CETES Block Party picnic will move inside the Williams Building to the Cultural Center.
