A Message from the Chancellor
Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus is growing in many exciting ways. We have always offered excellent educational programs, but in recent years we have stepped up our progress to combine the best in teaching, research, and outreach. The results speak for themselves. We are celebrating the successful completion of For The Future: The Campaign For Penn State Students, raising $4.1 M.
Traditionally, we have offered associate degrees, the first two years of more than 160 Penn State baccalaureate majors, and a number of continuing education courses. We still offer those options, but today's students can also complete five baccalaureate degrees (Business with a new Accounting Option; Human Development and Family Studies; Administration of Justice; Nursing; and new this fall, Psychology ) without leaving Penn State Fayette. Our faculty members are leading a number of innovative outreach efforts, and we have one of the best physical plants anywhere.
We pursue these advancements toward a single purpose; improving the economic climate and development of our region. We plan to offer even more educational opportunities to our students in the future. But with this growth comes continuous financial pressure to ensure the quality of higher education. Penn State Fayette aims to make great strides toward investing in our community's educational and economic future, and our goals include providing more scholarships so talented students who lack resources can obtain a Penn State education; offering enhanced support to faculty; and financing a number of important cultural, social, and athletic programs to ensure a well-rounded and challenging university experience.
Success in the future is vital to our future, and we must look to the alumni and friends of Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus to support us in achieving our ambitious goals.
