Columbus Day Application Workshop
9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. | 110 Eberly Building

For any prospective students who visit campus on Columbus Day to apply for admission, Penn State will waive the $50 application fee! High school and college transcripts and SAT scores are typically required to complete the application. After you apply, enjoy lunch on us in the campus Community Center. An RSVP is necessary to reserve your spot and lunch. Tours of campus will be available at 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Penn State Day Open House

Interested in attending Penn State? Students and their families are invited to visit Penn State Fayette to learn about the opportunities that Penn State University offers at all of its campuses, including topics such as academics, student life, admissions, financial aid, and more!

Students and parents will have the opportunity to see the campus facilities during an interactive tour and meet with faculty during an academic fair where representatives from many of our academic programs will be available to answer questions.

At the conclusion of the program, prospective students and their families will be invited to enjoy a complimentary lunch in our campus Community Center.

For any student who applies during the Open House, Penn State will waive the $50 application fee!

Shakespeare Festival

This annual festival will include demonstrations and performances by the National Players of Olney, Maryland, a unique national theatre ensemble. In addition to the special events taking place in the Community Center, there will be various exhibits in the Penn State Fayette Library featuring items pertaining to Shakespeare’s work.

Beat the Deadline Open House
5:00 to 7:00 p.m. | 110 Eberly Building

November 30 is the recommended deadline for applying to Penn State. Students who apply by November 30 have a better chance to receive both admission and scholarships to attend Penn State! Prospective students will have an opportunity to work with an admissions counselor to apply in person to Penn State have the $50 application fee waived. High school and college transcripts and SAT scores are typically required to complete the application. Enjoy Penn State Creamery ice cream and learn about the next steps in the enrollment process during your visit.

Financial Aid 101 Workshop

The Office of Student Aid at Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus, will host two free financial aid workshops for prospective students. The Financial Aid 101 Workshop will introduce the types of financial aid, the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), and will offer information about how to finance a college education. The FAFSA for Fall 2015 applicants becomes available for completion on January 1, so don’t miss this important workshop!
