CETES Director

Mr. Peter EberlePete Eberle was born in New Jersey during the ruckus sixties. He was raised as a military brat, moving to a new country or state every three years. After high school, he earned an Associates degree in Automobile Mechanics and worked on British MGs. He met his future wife while in college and she convinced him to earn a Bachelors degree in Business. However, he had to start all over as no previous credits transferred. While in college the second time, Prof. Eberle joined the Marine Reserves and worked his way through school taking interesting jobs and being a weekend warrior. After graduation, he began his corporate career as a claims adjuster in the Insurance industry. He was called up for active duty during the first Gulf War and had a great time playing in the Saudi desert. While fulfilling his Marine obligations, working on his Insurance career, and starting a family, he managed to find time to complete his Master’s Degree in Business Administration. He worked several years in corporate insurance litigation and as CEO for a marketing research firm. Professor Eberle and his wife have four kids and lots of pets at their home in the country. He is currently a faculty member at Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus, teaching Marketing and International Business courses. Prof. Eberle is also the founder and Director for CETES, the campus student business virtual incubator. He can be reached at pme2@psu.edu.
